What is the Metaverse?

What is the Metaverse

Metaverse is a concept of a virtual online 3D space that unites users in all spheres of life. It will connect many platforms, just as the Internet contains many websites that can be accessed through a single search engine.

The concept of metaverse was embodied in Neil Stevenson's science fiction novel"Snow Crash". But even if this concept was only a fiction, today it seems to be a future reality.

The Metaverse will be augmented reality, where each user will have their own character or avatar under their control. For example, in a virtual office, you can have a real meeting with an Oculus VR headset, then finish work and relax in a blockchain-based game, and then manage your cryptographic portfolio and finances in the same meta-version.

There are already several metaversions in various video games. And these are games like Second Life and Fortnite, or socialization tools like Gather Town, which combine many elements of real life in the online world. Of course, these applications are not part of the Metaverse, but in some ways they are similar to each other. Of course, there is no metaverse yet.

The connections between the financial, virtual and real world are getting stronger and stronger. The devices we use to control our lives allow us to access almost everything we want, and with just one finger. The crypto ecosystem has not escaped them either. NFTS, blockchain games, and crypto payments are no longer limited to cryptonians. All of this is now readily available as part of metaver development.

While not absolutely necessary, cryptocurrencies can be ideal for metaverses. They allow you to create a digital economy using various tokens and virtual collectibles (NFTS). Metaverse will also benefit from crypto wallets such as Trust Wallet or MetaMask.
